We host drill night every Monday night at 6:30. We reserve the last Monday of each month for maintenance on our apparatus but the other three weeks are fair game. A few weeks ago we hosted an open house for fire prevention and we demonstrated vehicle extrication for those that attended. Since we still had the car, we wanted to keep practicing.

On drill night this week, we decided to utilize the rams that we keep on the Engine to practice a dash lift. We were able to push up the passenger side with the large ram and used the jaws to lift the driver side of the car. We each took turns making relief cuts in the different parts to make the lift easier.
